Letter From Our Executive Director
Welcome!
My name is Jacob Kotschi, and I am honored to introduce myself as your new Executive Director. I was born and raised in South Elgin, IL, and I am thrilled to be back in the community I love. I graduated with high honors from Aurora University with degrees in Business Administration and Criminal Justice, driven by a passion for understanding the different areas within a business.
My journey has been shaped by my time in the United States Army, where I received several commendations, including two Army Achievement Medals for Leadership, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Army Service Medal, and the Overseas Service Ribbon. These experiences have instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, duty, and leadership.
I am a proud member of both the United States Army and the Aurora University community. Currently, I live in South Elgin, Illinois, with my wonderful wife, Chiara. Chiara is a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines, and we’ve been happily married for eight months. We’ve known each other since high school, and together we enjoy cooking, traveling, playing video games, and watching movies.

When I’m not working, you can find me playing disc golf, enjoying slow-pitch softball, or spending quality time with family and friends. These activities help me maintain a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
I am excited to bring my background in business operations and my leadership skills to our community. I am committed to upholding our values of excellence, compassion, and community engagement. Together, I believe we can achieve great things and create a thriving environment for everyone.
