The Reserve of Geneva Welcomes Mary Powers as Activities Director

We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Mary Powers to The Reserve as our Activities Director! Here’s what she had to say about joining our wonderful team:

“I am excited to be at The Reserve at this rewarding time of growth as we redefine ourselves as a premier 55+ active adult community. Our shared experiences will enable the formation of special bonds among staff and residents.

In my role as Activities Director, I look forward to enriching the lives of residents by bringing in speakers, entertainers, and developing programs to help those who live at The Reserve live an active and engaging life. I look forward to taking residents on outings to museums, theaters, art studios, historical places, and more. I want to bring people together to get to know each other better, to learn, to build relationships and of course, to have fun!

My prior experience includes working with active adults in many capacities, including transporting them, resolving issues, planning and executing activities and outings, providing tours, and working as a move-in coordinator.

In my free time I like to sew and have taught sewing in the past. I am an avid reader and like to hike, bike and explore new areas.”

We are so excited to see what fun activities Mary will prepare for our residents! If you’d like to meet Mary or have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
